The health and wellbeing of your dog is always our priority. We operate from a clean, professional environment
and are fully qualified, experienced and insured. Appointments are available throughout the week, including
evenings and weekends.
MICROCHIPPING: £8–£10
We are fully qualified, experienced and
insured microchip implanters, using small
microchips designed for comfortable
implantation.
Puppies must be microchipped and
registered on a compliant database before
they are eight weeks old, unless a
veterinary exemption applies. The
breeder is responsible for ensuring each
puppy is microchipped and recorded as
the first keeper before it leaves for its new
home.
ASSISTED MATING
ULTRASOUND SCAN
Artificial insemination is the assisted
reproductive technique that imitates a
natural mating.
When your stud has been chosen we
can carry out the artificial insemination
with both dogs at the clinic using fresh
semen from a stud dog, or
alternatively, chilled semen from a
distant stud dog. The process involves
collecting only the ‘rich fraction’ of the
studs semen and inserting it in to the
females cervix, this is a pain-free,
simple and safe procedure.
We offer ultrasound scans to
confirm pregnancy, using only the
market leading ultrasound
equipment. We advise to scan 28 –
35 days from the last mating date
for reliable pregnancy detection
result. This tool is also great for
ruling out phantom pregnancies, It's
believed that about half of all
female dogs will have a phantom
pregnancy in their lifetime unless
they are spayed.
